Day Eleven - Paris

We left Riquwihr at 7:30 this morning, heading to Strasbourg. As expected, the rush-hour traffic was a bit of a mess, but we safely made it to the rental car office, returned the car, and walked across the street to the train station, where we had reservations for the fast train to Paris. I slept the entire way, only waking up as we were slowing down to arrive at Paris d'Est. Victoria and I had lunch (non-Alsacian food!), and then she taxied to her parents house to spend the night. I'll see her tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime, my hotel room was ready, so I made a quick stop, and then walked to Luxembourg Gardens, my favorite place in Paris. After spending some time there, I snapped a few photos around the neighborhood, until it started to rain. Resting up in my hotel room until I meet my friend Gaelle for dinner tonight!

  1. More beautiful flowers! Must be cooler there, everyone's in long sleeves. Bet you hated to leave the apartment.

  3. CoCo is chilling in the house. Near record heat wave here. Might be a little warm on your return. Balch Springs awaits! See you Thursday. Willie Jules
