Trevor and Carolyn

Today, we drove up to Glacier National Park to see the changing leaves and to photograph Carolyn and her grandson, Trevor. It was breathtakingly beautiful there, chilly with some snow flurries. A fun time was had by all! Some of my favorite shots:

Autumn Arrives

I haven't lived in a place that actually had four seasons since I was a child. Moving to Montana was the best choice I've ever made. In the last week or two, autumn has been creeping into my neighborhood. We had a bit of rain this afternoon, but then the sun came out, shining on the streets and sidewalks. I picked up my camera, and Maggie and I went for a walk. The air was so crisp and fresh, and every now and then, you could smell the scent of wood smoke. Temperatures were in the fifties, and it was a perfect walk. Here's what I saw:

Family Portraits

My idea of family portraits is probably a bit different from the typical version. I really like to get outside and take full advantage of living in Montana. I did a session during the summer that encompassed Glacier National Park, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Kalispell for a mother and her two kids. This session took place over several days, and it was so much fun! These are some of my favorites.
