Whitefish, Montana - Day Two

Woke up to a winter scene yesterday morning! Got up and showered (thankfully very toasty bedroom and bath), and Krista and I drove into town. First, though, I took a few photos outside of her house.

The gardening shed isn't getting much use this time of year...
It's half a mile out to the main road, but the scenery is gorgeous!
Coming into town, it's very festive!

Lots of Christmas décor on sale!

There's a mosaic mural in town that depicts the four seasons.
I love the dancing moose in it!

Nice way to keep a can cool.

Lots of skiers on Big Mountain today.

Santa is still around on the road back home!

Stay tuned for more adventures!

  2. How beautiful. Now I know (as an Aussie) why everyone dreams of a white Christmas!

  3. Beautiful. It's been many, many years since I spent a few weeks backpacking in Wyoming and Montana and loving that part of the country. Still so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
