The Perfect September Morning

I've been absolutely horrible about updating my blog, but I'm about to change that! The move from Dallas to Kalispell was pretty much all encompassing for the first year, but now I'm focusing on growing my photography business. I definitely miss my Dallas clients; after all, I worked with them for over seven years. However, lots of changes to come, and I'm looking forward to marketing my business, and getting referrals from my new clients. Montana is an absolutely perfect place to shoot...the choice of backgrounds is amazing!

Here are a few of my favorites from a session I recently did on a local walking trail and the nearby park. The timing worked out perfectly so that I was able to photograph the parents and their two adorable girls, as well as both sets of grandparents!

Victoria Visits Texas

Last month, I had the pleasure of hosting my friend, Victoria, for a two week visit to Dallas, Texas. I met Victoria several years ago on a Spanish Galga rescue page. She lives in Lyon, France, and has two lovely girls, Joy and Sofia.
I became good friends with Victoria and her parents, meeting up with them in France several times. It was a pleasure to give back some American hospitality after all of the lovely things they have done for me, my family, and my friends. Victoria arrived in mid-February, and we did not stop until leaving for Paris on March 3rd. During this time, I worked weekdays during the mornings, and then at lunchtime, off we went! Looking back at these photographs, I'm amazed at all we saw and did! From the minute I picked Victoria up at the airport, we hit the ground running!
Lots of shopping and eating, trips to Fort Worth (twice),West, Waco, Waxahachie, and Abbott (birthplace of Willie Nelson)!

I've returned from Paris after a wonderful stay, and now my guest room is empty!  Victoria, I'll see you in Montana!
