We next hit up the downtown area of Whitefish, and as we got out of our car, there was a tremendous amount of honking...coming down the street were four school buses full of just-graduated seniors!
By the time we finished shopping and having lunch at the local creperie, it was time to head back home, where Tony and Dad were waiting for us. I had always wanted to drive up to Polebridge for dinner; it took a bit of time to get there, as a good part of the way is dirt road. Known for its bakery (and huckleberry bear claws) and restaurant/bar, it's off the grid...no cell service, no wireless. Solar panels and a diesel generator power Polebridge. The weather was perfect, and we sat at a picnic table and had a good meal.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the visit to our store today. I hope you love your new shirts!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nikki! We will be stopping by AGAIN on Monday...need to make a quick swap out on one of the tees.
DeleteCoCo is fine. The rain has finally moved on. I think CoCo might work on her belly tan today. Balch Springs Willie
