For a Good Cause

National Mill Dog Rescue rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes retired commercial breeding dogs from puppy mills. I am a proud supporter of this organization, and I donate pet photography sessions and photo packages to their online auctions. Most recently, a wonderful woman from Sweetwater, Texas was my winning bidder, and she gifted the session to her daughter, who lives in Fort Worth.  Leah and her three dogs, Luna, Caley and Riggs, met me at Trinity Park this morning, where we had a blast! Luna, a toy poodle, was Leah's first rescue, and she will celebrate her fifth birthday tomorrow. We started the party today!

Caley is a sweet five-year-old toy poodle with wild hair! She reminded me of a little sprite running around!

Caley even made herself right at home in my camera bag...

Riggs is a seven-year-old rescued Heeler from Midland, Texas. A beautiful boy, you can really tell that he loves his mom! Riggs sat on command, offered to shake paws, and posed like a pro.
