Whitefish - Day Two

This morning, we sat outside in the front yard and enjoyed the morning. Krista cooked breakfast, and afterwards, we drove to Glacier National Park. The weather was perfect; a little breeze was blowing, and it was nice and cool. The Going to the Sun Road is not open past Trail of the Cedars, but we drove up as far as we could, with Tony (who works at the Park) playing tour guide. He stopped at some of the best viewpoints, before we ended up at the Lodge at Lake McDonald. We sat outside on their back porch and took in the views before heading back to Whitefish for an in-between lunch/dinner meal at the Flying Pig, sitting outside at a picnic table.  Another fabulous day...I'm actually writing this blog post from Krista's back deck, with blue sky and tall pine trees as my inspirational view!

Whitefish - Day One

Today, I flew from Dallas to Denver, where I met cousin Missy and my dad. We then flew to Kalispell, Montana to visit Krista and Tony, who live in nearby Whitefish. This is my third visit, and each time it seems more beautiful here.  We're all pretty tired, but I wanted to share a few photos of the day. Good night from Whitefish, where the air is clean, the breeze is cool, and a gigantic wild turkey strolled across the front yard this evening.
