Zane and Chloe

I met two sisters and their children, Zane and Chloe, this morning at the Dallas Arboretum.  It was a beautiful June morning...not a cloud in the sky! Between Zane's extra long eyelashes and Chloe's beautiful red hair, I know they were the cutest kids there!  Here are some of my favorites.

 

Shelter Dogs

These dogs are at the Mesquite Animal  Shelter in Mesquite, Texas. If you need a new addition to your family, I'm sure they would be so happy to have a forever home! It truly breaks my heart to see them behind bars. We took a few outside to play in the sunshine, and they were ecstatic. When I told them they might get adopted if they smiled, you can see the results here.The Mesquite Animal Shelter is located at 1630 East Gross Road in Mesquite.  They can be reached at 972-216-6283. Animals and Their People

I did some volunteer photography today for the Mesquite, Texas Animal Shelter. They were offering low-cost vaccinations from noon until 5 pm.  My vet and two assistants were also volunteering their time and skills.  When I arrived at noon, there was a line out to the street.  Here are some of my favorites, starting with Lucas Hernandez.  Lucas is the dog...when the family handed me the form for his shots, the children made sure that his last name was written on it!
