Springtime in Texas means bluebonnets, Indian paint brush, and primroses.  Here are some of my favorite flower photographs, taken here, there, and everywhere.  Happy Springtime, y'all.

I've captured some impromptu shots lately of beautiful people.  Here are some of my favorites, which I want to share with you. This cute cowgirl posed for me at the Dallas Arboretum.

Also at the Arboretum: a wonderful group of women:  all sisters (with the exception of a granddaughter).  They were celebrating what would've been the 100th birthday of their Mother.  Since she loved flowers, they came down from Oklahoma to spend the day in her honor.

This sweet boy was in Greenville, getting ready to get his first haircut.  No more curls!

This woman looked SO happy!  She was in the audience at the Altrusa Club's fashion show, but I think she should've been on the runway.

These two women, who I understand are good friends, were on the runway, modeling some tres chic resort wear from The Calico Cat, my favorite boutique!

Best Of Shops

Laurie Anna's and the Willows at Home are my two favorite Canton, Texas shops.  Both are only open during First Monday weekends (the Thursday-Sunday PRIOR to the first Monday each month, and both are well worth the trip.  Here are a few of my favorite things at the Willows, including Moe, the shop dog!

Laurie Anna's is sensory overload for me.  There are so many beautiful things, large and small; I'd like to buy them all!  I can't even begin to imagine all the hard work that goes into making everything look like it does...there are apparently lots of decorating wizards in residence.  This time, there were also some cute rescue pups, as well as a little baby out on the town for her first shopping trip.
