Summer Comes to Portland

I'm always amazed whenever I visit Portland in the summer. All that rain that Portlandians complain about contributes to the beautiful green lushness.  Walk around the block, and it smells like flowers. Each yard offers something different.  Take a look!

Zane and Chloe

I met two sisters and their children, Zane and Chloe, this morning at the Dallas Arboretum.  It was a beautiful June morning...not a cloud in the sky! Between Zane's extra long eyelashes and Chloe's beautiful red hair, I know they were the cutest kids there!  Here are some of my favorites.

 

Shelter Dogs

These dogs are at the Mesquite Animal  Shelter in Mesquite, Texas. If you need a new addition to your family, I'm sure they would be so happy to have a forever home! It truly breaks my heart to see them behind bars. We took a few outside to play in the sunshine, and they were ecstatic.
