Last day in Lyon, and I was very lucky to spend it with Victoria and good friends!  I finally got to meet Severine, who is taking Sofia to her house while Victoria and I vacation in Riquewihr and then Paris. Also got to meet the kiddos that Victoria used to nanny (until they got too big!) and their mama. We had a very good lunch at Victoria’s apartment and some wonderful desserts were shared by all!  The kiddos made a fantastic chocolate cake (they said it was made with love) and Severine’s daughter Emma (a very talented pastry professional) made and sent along some amazing creations that were almost (almost!) too pretty to eat. Tomorrow morning, we take the train to Strasbourg, where I’ll pick up the rental car. We will then drive south to Riquewihr for the next five nights before returning to Paris.
