An Afternoon in Quinlan

It all started at First Monday Trade Days last month, when I met Brenda and Patty at their booth.
These fun girls had some great things for sale, and I soon found out that they have adjoining shops in the small town of Quinlan, Texas. There's even a third shop owned by friend, Margo. So today I headed east to do a little looking around, and this is what I found.

If you'd like to visit, check out more information at Birdie's AntiquesTipsy Tango, and Oohs and Aahs.  It'll be fun!

Autumn Comes to the Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum always decorates for autumn in a big way. This year, over 65,000 pumpkins, squash and gourds help bring autumn to town. A hay bale maze, Cinderella's carriage, and lots of fall flowers add to the decor. Today, Baby Dylan and her mother enjoyed a beautiful morning, although I suppose I can't call her Baby Dylan for much longer!
