Sedona is only about half an hour from Jerome, so we were soon on our way.

Got to Get Away!
Sometimes a girl's just got to get away. Northern Arizona is a good place to go...and my favorite town is Jerome. I left Dallas early this morning, so I could arrive in Phoenix in time to pick up my friend, Nancy. She flew in from Seattle, and by mid-morning we were driving toward Sedona.
The red rocks were gorgeous, so we stopped a few times to snap some pix, including at the Church of the Holy Cross.
This roadside rooster was particularly intriguing!
We pulled into Tlaquepaque for some lunch and a little art therapy.
Our rooms were ready, and our friends were waiting. We unpacked, and headed to the front patio, where we watched a storm move this way.
White lilacs were in bloom...as the day faded away, we walked down to Quince for dinner. Thanks for joining me...I'll be back tomorrow with more photos.
