Months ago, I decided it was time to go back to Paris. It seemed as though I had a lot of time between then and now, but I leave late tomorrow, arriving in the city of light Friday morning! Accompanying me on this week-long trip will be my daughter, Krista. I haven't even pulled out my luggage (yes, to those of you who have inquired, I do put it away from time to time!)...so this evening I will gather everything together and pack it all. It takes quite awhile just to get the electronics assembled: camera, lenses, extra rechargeable batteries, the recharger, external flash, camera bags, laptop, a/c cord, adaptor/surge protector, USB cords, Kindle, Kindle recharger, iPhone, iPhone recharger. Good heavens, I hope I'll have room for things like clothes and shoes!
I'll be blogging each evening. It's seven hours later in Paris than it is in Dallas, so I should have a post up by late afternoon for most of you. I hope you all join me, and leave comments. I read them each evening, and it makes me feel like my friends and family are right there with me. We have some fun things planned, which I think you'll enjoy! Au revoir for now!
I will love seeing Paris, one of the places I have yet to see...This will be awesome! Please no eating chocolate pastries in front of me however, I may cry? :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you! Please have a Nutella and banana crepe for me. Or two.
ReplyDeleteYay! Love it when you visit the museums, especially the out of the way ones.

Off you go...stopping at those little sidewalk cafes....so many new people to meet with their exciting stories. I hope you weren't pinching people on your flight since it's St. Patrick's Day.
