Paris, March 5

A very cold and rainy day today in Paris, but I loved every minute of it. Starting with the Raspail Bio Market (where, because of the rain, I could only use my iPhone for photographs), and then visiting the Musee Jacquemart Andre with Victoria and her mother Helene. Such a lovely museum!

Checking out a new blogger app, which is not working very well! Today was chilly and rainy, but we metro'd to Bon Marche for a fun shopping experience!  Also had lunch at a cafe, and visited Rue du Cherche Midi before swimming back to our hotel!

Scenes from Paris, day one!

Paris 2017

I leave tomorrow for a week in Paris. It's been a crazy new year for me, with lots of changes. I've sold my beloved house, and it will close on March 30th. Afterwards, I have a two-month leaseback in which to find a house near my daughter and son-in-law in Whitefish, Montana, where prices are very high. It's the worst possible time to go on vacation, but thanks to a $400 round-trip airline ticket, off I go. My sweet friend, Victoria, from Lyon, France, has been visiting me for the last two weeks, and cousin Missy flew in on Saturday. We are all flying to Paris together. I'll be posting each evening, and look forward to you joining me!
